Former Prime Minister William 'Butt-Munch' Tell today reached a truly memorable landmark with his 12000th post to the Internet Archive's Grateful Dead forum.

At an average of nearly 379.5 characters per post his astounding total of over 4.5 million characters exceeds the number of characters in the Bible by roughly one million. In itself this would be a remarkable achievement, but when put alongside Tell's 'day job' as a top psychological profiler for a secret government agency and his authorship of an internationally syndicated and much-loved comic strip, we can truly appreciate the flabbergasting enormity of this diluvian outpouring of an extraordinary, and thankfully unique, mind.

Crikey, that's some serious writing. You should get out more Tell ;0)

That's what I am taking away from this...scary, in a very pathetic way, ya know?

Now you'll have to live up to your legend until some young gunslinger comes along. Until that time, we are as amoebas.

There were several characters in the Bible, is that what in-the-hell pray tell this place is all about?

It figures that when you finally reappear it is with your lips firmly attached to Mr. Tell's hindquarters.

Brown-nosed butt munch? or Bottom dwelling?

Either way, lovely additions to any aquarium.

Well, as I always say, "if you keep talking, eventually something that makes sense is bound to come out".

As for all of my off-site activities, I am honored that you've taken the time (it certainly couldn't have been due to interest) to read up on them; I hope you made heartful (or at least monetarily significant) contributions via PayPal at each of the websites established for each of these "day jobs" of mine...in the absence of a lg readership for the strip, or enough idiots to profile (isn't going to happen), I'd spend all my time here bothering everyone.

The strange thing is the two jobs are largely complementary: in one I sit around all day doodling trying to make people laugh, and in the other I sit around all day laughing about what people see in my doodles, and then reporting them to the Feds.

;)

It's been a long time since that November of 2006 when we met up here...everyone was still talking about the "big SBD removal" of 05, and other DEAD related topics.

.....I for one know very little about the man. Including his real name!

I wish I could read some of his older postings. You know....the pre-Cream Obsession days. Congrats?

I'm pretty much 100 percent off social media and I must say.....it feels gooooood. No fantasy sports, no FB, very limited Attendance at the Brokedown and an occasional anti-social post here.......I'm plugged into life baby. The screenery was getting awfully stale.

I must say I do check-in daily here, but I can use all the music as an excuse for that. Always enjoy the tips and banter. Tell helps keep all that rolling by simply responding. thanks for that.

BTW, Elb has me contact info if you ever want to introduce yourself.

Rock said yea, but didn't get to really talk about it. I'll see what else I can find out next time around and report back.

Arb--I couldn't have ever come up with that many posts without a great many in the early days having to do directly to all you did to help me expand my horizons, and come (kicking and screaming?) into the digital world...no credenza nor chiffarobe could ever repay that debt, my friend.
